Pryor Cashman Represents Miltenyi Biotec In Acquisition of U.S. Biotech Company
Pryor Cashman advised client Miltenyi Biotec GmbH, a German biotech company, on the U.S. aspects of its acquisition of California-based Owl Biomedical, Inc., creators of the Nanosorter®, a high-speed, microchip-based cell sorting platform containing the world’s fastest microvalve.
Miltenyi Biotec is the global leader in the field of magnetic cell separation. The acquisition combines Owl's innovation with Miltenyi’s excellence in commercial design, manufacturing and marketing.
Advising Miltenyi Biotec's in the transaction were members of Pryor Cashman's Corporate and Life Science groups acted as including Partners Juergen Ostertag, Stephen Goodman and Jeffrey Johnson and Associate Durre Hanif.
