Pryor Cashman Managing Partner Ron Shechtman was profiled by BizNow in its November 16, 2010 issue. The article reports that:
- Pryor Cashman has taken on 6,000 additional square feet at 7 Times Square
- Shechtman went to Delhi, India for Interlaw’s annual global conference of 70 law firms
- Pryor Cashman is thriving thanks to a tight cost structure, flexible billing, and an entrepreneurial platform
- The firm has added seven partners in less than two years, and started family law, business integration, and non-profit practices while simultaneously expanding its Exec Comp and ERISA group
- The firm has a broad origination base, with no client representing more than 4% of their business
- Half the partners originate $500k of business or more, and one third originate $1M and up
- Pryor Cashman’s history of representing prominent restaurants continues
The article also notes that Shechtman’s spouse is the award-winning artistic director of the Manhattan Theatre Club, Lynne Meadow, who has won three Tonys, including best productions for "Doubt", "Proof", and "Love! Valour! Compassion!" In September, she hosted the partners of Pryor Cashman and their spouses at a performance of "The Pitman Painters", following which they had the opportunity to meet the cast and playwright Lee Hall, who also penned "Billy Elliott".
