Matthew Marcus is a Partner in Pryor Cashman's Family Law Group.
Matthew handles his clients' matters with a meticulous and thoughtful hand. Matthew's practice is built on a foundation of litigating and untangling complex matrimonial disputes involving equitable distribution, custody, visitation, child support, and spousal support. He has experience representing high-net-worth individuals through all aspects of matrimonial and family law. He also represents individuals in the negotiation and drafting of pre-nuptial, post-nuptial, and separation agreements.
Named as a Super Lawyers “New York Metro Rising Star” each year since 2016, Matthew has dedicated his entire career to the area of matrimonial and family law, representing clients in Supreme and Family Courts throughout the five boroughs of New York City, Westchester, Nassau, and Suffolk counties. Matthew has extensive experience at both the trial and appellate levels.
During law school, Matthew served as a Judicial Intern for Honorable Matthew D'emic in the Kings County Mental Health Court and as a legal intern for the Brooklyn Bar Association's Volunteer Lawyers Project. Prior to joining Pryor Cashman, Matthew worked at several boutique matrimonial law firms in New York City.
