Partner Dyan Finguerra-DuCharme spoke with The Washington Post regarding the Trump administration's upcoming measures to crack down on counterfeits sold on third-party websites, such as Amazon, EBay and Alibaba. 

On January 24, the Department of Homeland Security ("DHS") produced a 54-page report urging government officials "to take 'immediate action' against counterfeit goods, by imposing fines and other penalties" on the online platforms that frequently sell goods from third-party merchants. Commenting on the crack down, Finguerra-DuCharme asserted that "[this] is an ever-evolving problem that requires real action...[it's] not just the guy selling fake Louis Vuitton bags on the street corner anymore."
