The article, entitled “Prior to Pryor,” reports that while some law firm clients are becoming less willing to internalize the cost of junior associate training, mid-sized firms like Pryor Cashman have junior lawyers working closely with and supervised by senior attorneys, assuring productivity from the client’s viewpoint. “Mid-sized firms depend on creating value,” Ron says, “and the mix and appropriate use of junior associates is just one more tool in doing so.”
