Noh on the Significance of the Landmark 5Pointz Ruling
Law360 covered the recent landmark ruling by the Second Circuit against a real estate developer who whitewashed the “graffiti mecca” known as 5Pointz in Queens, New York. The ruling cited the Visual Artists Rights Act (VARA), an amendment to a federal copyright law intended to protect art from ‘destruction or mutilation’.
