Pryor Cashman Elects David C. Rose to Executive Committee
Pryor Cashman is pleased to announce that Partner David C. Rose has been elected to a three-year term on the firm’s Executive Committee. The seven-person committee oversees the management and strategic direction of the firm, which has offices in New York and Los Angeles.

Rose, a partner in Pryor Cashman’s Litigation group since 2003, represents and counsels clients in all aspects of complex corporate, real estate, entertainment, and estate litigation from inception through trial.
Involved in a number of high-profile cases over his career, recently Rose successfully represented model and actress, Devon Aoki, and international DJ and record producer, Steven Aoki, in a long-running dispute over the trust established by their father, iconic Benihana founder, Rocky Aoki. Rose also represented legendary record producer and songwriter Phil Spector in multiple litigations concerning the permitted scope of use of sound recordings and royalties to be paid for such use, obtaining a landmark contract and intellectual property law ruling from New York’s highest court. He presently serves as Special Litigation Counsel to the New York County Public Administrator to prosecute a proceeding to locate and recover property belonging to the estate of the world-renowned Chinese artist and art collector C.C. Wang.
When he’s not in the courtroom, Rose works tirelessly to enhance the well-being of the Jewish people in New York, Israel and around the world, through his involvement with the American Jewish Committee (AJC). In the short seven years of working with the organization, Rose ascended the ranks and was recently elected President of the AJC’s New York City Regional Office and serves on AJC’s National Board of Governors.
Rose received his J.D., cum laude, from University of Pennsylvania Law School, where he was a Senior Editor of the University of Pennsylvania Journal of International Business Law. He earned his B.A. from the University of Pennsylvania as well.
