Perry M. Amsellem

Partner Perry Amsellem was interviewed in the Barry Aurich-directed documentary "Made You Look: A True Story About Fake Art."  The 89-minute documentary on Netflix dissects the $80 million forgery scandal centered at the Knoedler & Company art gallery in New York City. Amsellem is quoted in the documentary saying: "This is probably the largest fraud that has ever been discovered in the history of the United States [...] It was a perfect storm and it was highly unusual for this amount of forged works to be going through Knoedler and fooling so many people."
