Association of Commercial Finance Attorneys' 2016 Annual CLE Weekend
Richard Levy, Jr., co-chair of Pryor Cashman's Bankruptcy, Reorganization & Creditors' Rights Group, will be a panelist at the Association of Commercial Finance Attorneys' 2016 Annual CLE Weekend at the Mohonk Mountain House in New Paltz, New York, May 20-22, 2016.
The panel on which Levy will participate, The Annual Bankruptcy Update, reports on hot topics in bankruptcy that are of particular interest to secured creditors. In addition to Levy, the members of the panel will include: retired U.S. Bankruptcy Judge Joel Rosenthal of Massachusetts, Florida bankruptcy practitioner Mindy Mora of Bilzin, Sumberg, Baena, Price & Axelrod LLP, New Jersey bankruptcy practitioner Stephen Falanga of Connell Foley LLP, and Colorado bankruptcy practitioner Kevin Neiman.
In addition to joining in the panel's discussion of recent bankruptcy developments, Levy's presentations will include: corporate governance issues in insolvency situations; the safe harbor for securities-related transfers under Section 546(e) of the Bankruptcy Code; the treatment of consignments of goods in bankruptcy; and the treatment of intellectual property in bankruptcy.
