Pryor Cashman Associate Olivia Taylor, a member of the Art Law Group, participated in a virtual panel discussion in an event hosted by the Center for Art Law. The program, titled “It’s Not Personal, It’s Business: When Artists Change Galleries,” examined the legal and logistical aspects of artist and gallery relationships, particularly with respect to the trend of artists changing or adding additional gallery representation.

Drawing on their experience in art law and market dynamics, the speakers addressed statutory and contractual protections impacting duties, rights, and disputes between an artist and a gallery representing them.
