Pryor Cashman Represents Aurora Capital in Securing Leases for Restoration Hardware and Whole Foods
Pryor Cashman represented Aurora Capital in securing leases for a 70,000-square-foot Restoration Hardware store in the Meatpacking District as well as a 40,000 square-foot Whole Foods market in Williamsburg, Brooklyn.
The Meatpacking District has undergone a transformation, seeing an influx of visitors both to the High Line and the new Whitney Museum. Aurora Capital has more than 230,000 square feet of retail under development in the Meatpacking District, by far more than anyone else. In addition, Aurora’s new development pipeline is extending beyond retail with the construction of the Whole Foods market in Williamsburg.
Partner Bradley A. Kaufman, head of Pryor Cashman’s Commercial & Retail Leasing Practice, and Partner Andrea R. Gendel, a member of the firm’s Real Estate Group, represented Aurora Capital in the Restoration Hardware and Whole Foods transactions, which were reported in the August 5, 2015 edition of The Real Deal.
