• Dismissal of a suit brought by the sole shareholder of a food distribution business alleging fraud, tortious interference, conspiracy, breach of fiduciary duty, and related claims against a cooperative of produce merchants operating a wholesale produce market.
• Dismissal of a suit alleging fraud, breach of contract, breach of fiduciary duty, and related claims against a bank and two of its employees in connection with a loan facility letter.
• Judgment on the pleadings in a suit alleging civil RICO violations against multiple entertainment companies and related individuals, resulting in dismissal of the case, and an injunction against the pro se plaintiffs preventing them from commencing future litigation based on the same allegations.
• Defense of a nonprofit organization against international copyright infringement claims in connection with the planned public dissemination of scholarly archival materials.
• A major foreign student exchange program in connection with three proceedings challenging the government’s denial of the program’s application for real property tax exempt status.
