Pryor Cashman Represents DHA Capital in $55 Million Mixed-Use Acquisition

Pryor Cashman represented DHA Capital LLC in its $55 million purchase of a mixed-use property located at 75 Kenmare Street in Manhattan’s Nolita neighborhood.

DHA plans to develop the site into 35 condominium apartments ranging from one to four- bedroom units, as well as two additional units of commercial space and a 150 space below-ground-parking garage.  Altogether, the project will encompass over 55,000 square feet of above-ground space.

The deal, which closed on June 13, 2016, has attracted attention from various media outlets, in part due to Grammy Award-winning rock star, Lenny Kravitz, signing on to design the building’s interiors.  Architect Andre Kikoski has been tapped to design the exterior and Douglas Elliman’s Fredrik Eklund and John Gomes will handle sales – currently projected at $127 million.

Additional information on this deal can be found in The Real Deal, Law360 and Curbed New York.

Pryor Cashman partners Wayne Heicklen, co-chair of the firm’s Real Estate Group, Danielle Schechner and Michael Dunworth, along with associates Amanda Waye and Jonathan Stein, represented DHA in this transaction.
