Ferber Contributes Entertainment Litigation Chapter
On August 16, 2011, Oxford University Press, USA released its new treatise, Entertainment Litigation. Partner Tom J. Ferber, member of Pryor Cashman’s Litigation and Entertainment, Media and Communications Groups, was a contributing author to the new publication.
Entertainment Litigation provides in-depth discussion and analysis of the substantive law regarding the subjects that most frequently arise in entertainment litigation – such as copyright infringement, idea misappropriation, right of publicity, and defamation, among others – and provides guidelines, tips and recommendations on litigating in these areas, on behalf of both plaintiffs and defendants. The book also addresses talent agency law, the stalking and harassment of celebrities, insurance law and other areas of entertainment litigation under New York, California, and other law.
Ferber, with the assistance of Partners Steven Rabinowitz and Howard Siegel and Associates Ross Bagley, Bryan Mohler and Elizabeth Warner, contributed the chapter on New York Law and Procedure.
