On November 17, 2017, Partner Ilene Farkas will be a featured panelist at the New York State Bar Association (NYSBA) - Entertainment and Sports Law (EASL) Section's Annual Music Law Conference. The panel, "Copyright Law and Litigation Annual Review, will be moderated by Senior Counsel Stephen Rodner.

Counsel Ralph DePalma will also moderate a discussion entitled "Music Business Basics – Publishing / Recording / Sampling," which will cover basic concepts of publishing and recording agreements, including how sampling fits into those realms, along with a discussion of the role of a talent agent for a band.
