For 30+ years, Ralph has counseled entertainment’s biggest names on all aspects of film, television, music and new technology transactions. His clients include publicly traded entertainment companies, advertising agencies, technology startups, executives, entrepreneurs, entertainers, and artists.

Ralph’s experience runs the gamut from complex film financing, production counsel, copyright fair use, rights of publicity and First Amendment analysis, talent agreements, option agreements, NFTs, merchandising, recording agreements, music publishing agreements, copyright terminations, early stage investment transactions, and general business advice. He also provides trademark prosecution services and serves as strategic counsel in complex copyright and trademark disputes.

Prior to entering law school, Ralph worked in the film industry and as a musician.

Ralph received his J.D. from Brooklyn Law School and holds LL.Ms in Taxation and Corporate Law from New York University School of Law. He earned a B.F.A. in Film and Television Production from New York University’s Tisch School of the Arts.

Lecturing and Teaching Experience

Since 2004, Ralph has served as an Adjunct Professor of Entertainment Law at Brooklyn Law School, where he developed the curriculum for Brooklyn Law’s Entertainment Law Workshop.
