From Idea to IPO is a 12-week evening course that met every Tuesday, from February 7 to May 1, 2012, from 6–9 p.m. The course introduced the fundamentals of technology entrepreneurship – specifically, how to take the right idea from the laboratory to the marketplace; starting with identifying the commercial opportunity of an idea or invention, to gathering the financial resources and talent to start a company.
