Pryor Cashman Partner Stephen Goodman spoke at the Cornell University event “Making the Pitch and Legal Considerations: A Mini Startup Boot Camp Event,” held Wednesday, February 27, 2013, at the Weill Greenberg Center, 1305 York Avenue in New York City.

The boot camp was hosted by Cornell University's Cornell Center for Technology Enterprise and Commercialization and featured a panel of speakers who shared their advice on making the pitch, specifically discussing

• the length of a pitch,
• how to present,
• what teams to travel with,
• which team member(s) should give the pitch,
• and what investors are looking for during a pitch.

Goodman, who is a member of the firm’s Corporate and Intellectual Property Groups, spoke on the topic of legal aspects to consider when starting a company.
