Judith L. Poller, partner and co-chair of Pryor Cashman’s Family Law Group, was quoted in the Forbes article entitled "Athletes Winning the Draft Lottery."

The article discusses the former superstar athlete who has maintained a powerful global brand image. The level of wealth professional athletes attain is enormous but also comes with challenges in the form of incompetent advisors, and career criminals. Athletes often neglect to protect their personal brand. According to Poller, "inexperience is a factor in many high-profile celebrity missteps and situations can quickly spiral out of control. This can leave celebrities vulnerable even as they balance the need for visibility against legitimate security and privacy concerns. One of the biggest mistakes young celebrities make is forgoing a prenuptial agreement. In the event of divorce, the resulting uncertainty and acrimony can quickly become a public spectacle with the potential to undermine positive brand image."
