Ilan also counsels management on day-to-day human resources issues concerning its employees, such as performance management, medical leave and accommodation requests, onboarding and termination, and wage/hour compliance. Ilan’s legal services also include developing and drafting customized company policies, employment agreements, company handbooks, and conducting trainings with company management and its staff.

Through his knowledge of wage and hour law, Ilan has become a go-to advisor for clients in the hospitality industry, defending and advising leading restaurants, hotels, music venues, and nightlife establishments against class and collective litigation involving industry-specific claims for unpaid wages, tip misappropriation, and misclassification. He also defends, advises, and negotiates on behalf of executives in transition on issues related breach of contract and restrictive covenants.
