Pryor Cashman Partner Ilene Farkas, co-chair of the Music Group, is participating in the Fordham Intellectual Property, Media & Entertainment Law Journal Symposium, presented by Fordham University.
Ilene is part of a panel discussion, “Do You Get Déjà Vu? Current Copyright Controversies,” that also includes Ed Shapiro, Partner, Entertainment and Media Industry Group, Reed Smith; Linna Chen, Senior Legal Counsel, Litigation & Copyright, Spotify; and moderator Prof. Sarah Matz, Professor, Fordham University School of Law & Partner, Adelman Matz PC.
The symposium focuses on “the intersection of Intellectual Property Law and the Music Industry. The discussion of the First Amendment, Criminal Law, Artificial Intelligence, and Copyright will provide unique and important perspectives on the most current issues affecting the Music Industry. Panelists will include a diverse array of attorneys practicing in the related fields.”
