Pryor Cashman hosted the Bio & Health Tech Entrepreneurship Lab NYC, held Thursdays and Fridays, from February 21 thru March 8, 2013 at the firm’s 7 Times Square office in New York City.

Launched by the Bloomberg Administration and New York City Economic Development Corporation, and led by a team of experienced entrepreneurs, the Bio & Health Tech Entrepreneurship Lab NYC is a prestigious 6-month training and mentorship program for aspiring entrepreneurs in New York City’s life sciences and healthcare technology community. The Lab provides extensive support to graduate students of science, post-docs, early-career researchers and engineers interested in forming new biotech and health tech ventures. The program is held annually and features a mini-MBA curriculum, expert coaching, pitch preparation support, team building activities and access to a community of seasoned entrepreneurs, investors and mentors.

During the morning of Thursday, March 7th Corporate Partner Jeffrey Johnson discussed Contracts and Legal Documents, and later that day Partner Lawrence Spector, also a member of the firm's Corporate Group, presented on the topic of Positioning Your Company for Investment or Sale.

On Friday, February 22nd Pryor Cashman Intellectual Property Partner, James Klaiber spoke on the topic of Intellectual Property Basics, and Partner Stephen Goodman, also a member of the firm's Intellectual Property Group, covered Technology Transfer and Licensing Negotiations.
