Pryor Cashman Boasts Significant Corporate Trust Representations in rue21 and 21st Century Oncology Bankruptcies

Pryor Cashman has been retained to represent the successor indenture trustee to more than $239 million in senior unsecured notes in the recent bankruptcy filed by teen specialty fashion retailer rue21, inc. (“rue21”).

rue21 and certain of its affiliates filed for bankruptcy on May 15, 2017 in the United States Bankruptcy Court for the Western District of Pennsylvania. The case is pending before U.S. Bankruptcy Judge Gregory L. Taddonio. Pryor Cashman is representing the unsecured notes trustee that was itself selected as a member of the Official Committee of Unsecured Creditors in the rue21 bankruptcy case.

Pryor Cashman has also been retained to represent the agent of a $35 million pre-bankruptcy term loan in the recent bankruptcy filed by global provider of integrated cancer care services 21st Century Oncology Holdings, Inc. (“21C”). 21C and certain of its affiliates filed for bankruptcy on May 25, 2017 in the U.S. Bankruptcy Court for the Southern District of New York. The case is pending before U.S. Bankruptcy Judge Robert D. Drain.
