Managing Partner Ronald Shechtman Featured in Crain’s Article About Associates

Pryor Cashman Managing Partner Ronald Shechtman was interviewed by Crain’s New York for its November 1, 2009 article “Less work means few winners, in any case – Jobs for new associates deferred indefinitely; small firms benefit.”
When asked about client attitudes toward paying for the time of young associates, Shechtman told Crain’s that “some general counsel have taken the position that they won't pay for first- or second-year associates to work on their matters while they are still trying to find their way to the library. Others don't want any associate more expensive than a third-year.”
