Bringing extensive knowledge of marketing, business development and digital analytics, Mike Mellor, Director of Marketing at Pryor Cashman, will appear as a featured speaker at several upcoming national conferences.  With over a decade of experience as a forward-thinking strategist and “change agent,” Mellor is frequently tapped for his insights on brand differentiation, prospect targeting and compelling approaches for developing buy-in amongst partners and management.

Mellor’s first appearance will be on June 14, 2016 at the Gro Pro 20/20 Conference in New York City.  Here, he will joined by fellow members of the legal marketing community to discuss how and why certain law firms are “getting it right” in terms of digital strategy, and measures other firms can adopt to recreate this success.

His next appearance will be at the LMA Technology Conference in Chicago on June 23, 2016, where he will take part in a discussion entitled, “Building Tools that Enable Collaboration & Circumvent Competition.”  As one of four featured experts, Mellor will outline strategies for optimizing collaboration between attorneys and clients and engendering firm-wide cultural changes that bolster buy-in and enhance communication across departments.

On September 22, 2016, Mellor will speak at the International Bar Association (IBA) Panel in Washington, DC.  Regarded as the world’s largest and most prestigious international gathering of lawyers, corporations and government, IBA brings together over 6,000 delegates and features a distinguished roster of speakers including Loretta Lynch (Attorney General of the United States), Jeh Johnson (US Secretary of Homeland Security), Colin Powell (ret. US Secretary of State) and Mary Jo White (Chair of the US Securities and Exchange Commission).

Here, Mellor’s presentation will focus on proven ways firms can differentiate themselves from their competitors – asserted by managing and senior partners as the single most important factor in helping their businesses.  His session will also explore client insights, experience sharing between management and marketing professionals and the utility of independent directories.
