Michael Goldberg, a partner in Pryor Cashman’s Litigation Group, was interviewed by the New York Post for its article, “Couture & Paste,” which discusses a series of copyright infringement charges brought against Chris Burch, owner of the retail brand C. Wonder.

On November 2, 2012, awyers for the retailers ex-wife, Tory Burch, are expected to sue C. Wonder for copyright infringement, citing a plethora of copied designs and details. Additionally, C. Wonder recently settled similar charges from Los Angeles artist Zlatka Paneva.

According to Goldberg, “C. Wonder is a very creditable and established player in the apparel business, and they ought to know better.” Further adding, “you never want to demonstrate a pattern of disregarding people’s intellectual-property rights.”
