Partner Richard L. Kay, co-leader of the Trusts and Estates practice and a member of Pryor Cashman’s Private Client and Tax Groups, was interviewed by Weill Cornell Medical College’s quarterly magazine, Philanthropist, for its article, “Living Trusts and Wills.” The article appeared in the Fall 2015 edition.

This article marks the debut of a regular feature in Philanthropist: a Q&A-style conversation on various methods of structuring a gift. These discussions also address timely tax and financial planning topics to review with advisors.

Among the questions answered in the Q&A included why everyone should have a will, the difference between a living trust and a will as well as the benefits of establishing a living trust.
