Partner Ronald Kremnitzer, Co-Chair of the firm’s Real Estate Group, was quoted by Crain’s New York Business in an article about the emerging residential trend in Downtown Manhattan. The article, entitled “Population growing faster than retail, service sector – More families call area home, but lack of basic shopping is a concern,” appeared in the January 14-20, 2008 edition of the magazine.
Kremnitzer stated that the area needs more family-oriented businesses, including restaurants that welcome children, to guarantee its long-term health. “As the area becomes less hot, it won’t draw as many young people, and as people already here get older, they might move elsewhere.”
