Partner Wayne Heicklen, Co-Chair of Pryor Cashman’s Real Estate Group, was quoted in the January 2008 edition of The Real Deal in an article about condominiums.

The article by Mark Ferris (“How to do condos in 2008 – Experts share their best tips for survival”) notes that demand will likely remain strong, but developers are rushing to get their projects in the ground before the 421-a abatement runs out in July 2008. Heicklen noted, however, that even though the tax credit runs out soon, removing a key selling point for many buildings, it will do little to curb the appetite for high-end real estate.
