Pryor Cashman Announces Two New Partners and Elevates Two to Of Counsel
Pryor Cashman is pleased to announce that Andrea R. Gendel and Michael J. Niborski have become Partners and Mona Simonian and Seth H. Lieberman have become Of Counsel to the firm, effective January 1, 2013.
Andrea R. Gendel has been with Pryor Cashman since 2007 as a member of the Real Estate Group. She has broad experience representing clients in a wide range of real estate matters, such as leasing, dispositions and management of commercial properties. She devotes a majority of her professional time to commercial real estate leasing transactions and is experienced in commercial office, retail, industrial and ground lease transactions of mostly Class A properties in New York City and throughout the United States. She is involved in all aspects of the leasing process (including, negotiating leases, guaranties, management agreements, consulting on letters of intent, negotiating brokerage and agency agreements, sublease agreements, surrender agreements and other related lease transaction instruments).Gendel earned her J.D. from Benjamin N. Cardozo School of Law and her B.A. from University of Pennsylvania, where she graduated cum laude.
Michael J. Niborski joined the firm in 2009 as a member of the Entertainment, Media & Communications, Intellectual Property and Litigation Groups. Niborski is head of litigation for the Los Angeles office of Pryor Cashman LLP and he represents a variety of clients in the entertainment, broadcasting, and publishing industries in a wide array of defamation, privacy, right of publicity, trademark and copyright litigation. He also regularly counsels clients in these areas with regard to the content of entertainment programming and news publications. Niborski earned his J.D. from Loyola Law School and his bachelor’s from Georgetown University.
Seth H. Lieberman joined Pryor Cashman in 2008 as a member of the Bankruptcy, Reorganization and Creditors’ Rights Group. Lieberman concentrates his practice in both bankruptcy litigation and appeals as well as counseling and support of corporate clients in various commercial and business transactions. He earned his J.D. from Benjamin N. Cardozo School of Law, cum laude, and his B.A. from James Madison University, where he graduated magna cum laude.
Mona Simonian joined the firm in 2006 as a member of the Litigation Group. Simonian has broad experience in general commercial litigation and in the areas of intellectual property litigation, including trade secret disputes, copyright, trademark and trade dress infringement, and unfair competition. She represents both U.S.- and foreign-based clients involved in numerous industries, including financial services, consumer goods, music and entertainment, textiles and apparel. Simonian earned her J.D. from New York University School of Law and her bachelor’s from University of Maryland, College Park.
