Pryor Cashman Restaurant Group Helps Clients Get Naked
Pryor Cashman recently represented clients Mitchell Krupp and Richard Jacobson in negotiating and obtaining the exclusive New York City development rights to the Naked Pizza restaurant franchise. The deal closed on September 3, 2010.
Founded in 2006 in New Orleans, NakedPizza® has attracted investments from Mark Cuban and The Kraft Group and has been recognized by The New York Times, Twitter, Entrepreneur Magazine and numerous marketing outlets as one of the top practitioners of social media in the world.
NakedPizza’s mission is to prove that pizza, an unhealthy and popular fast food staple, can be made healthier and tasty while also making a business case for investment, profit and scale. NakedPizza® promises that its pizzas are free of antibiotics, hormones, added sugar, high fructose corn syrup, trans fats and other chemicals.
NakedPizza launched its franchise company in October 2009 and is currently on pace to have between 400 to 500 stores under contract by the end of 2010.
Richard Frazer, Chair of Pryor Cashman’s Restaurant, Food and Beverage Group, represented Krupp and Jacobson in the transaction.
