Copyright Office Issues New Electronic Registration Requirements for Designated DMCA Agents

On December 1, 2016, the U.S. Copyright Office issued a final rule altering the method by which agents can be designated to receive infringement notices under the Digital Millennium Copyright Act (“DMCA”).
