United States Citizenship and Immigration Services (USCIS) has announced that it has lifted the temporary suspension of Premium Processing service. Premium Processing is an expedited service that allows employers to pay an extra $1410 filing fee to have H-1B petitions adjudicated in 15 days, rather than multiple months. 

Over the course of the last year, USCIS has implemented and then relaxed various aspects of the Premium Processing suspension. The changing and unpredictable suspensions have made it difficult for employers to plan start dates for new employees and caused employees to limit international travel. We are hopeful that the announcement will make the hiring process and international travel smoother and more predictable for employers and their H-1B employees.
