Pryor Cashman Represents Major Food Group in Revamp of Former Four Seasons Restaurant
Pryor Cashman represented Major Food Group (owners of Carbone, Dirty French, Santina, Sadelle’s, ZZ’s Clam Bar and Parm) in its partnership with Seagram Building owner Aby Rosen on opening new restaurants in the space that was previously home to the iconic restaurant, The Four Seasons.
Major Food Group plans to create separate spaces in which The Pool Room and The Grill will have different menus and décor, and the space that was originally home to The Brasserie will become another dining area with a separate menu.
Jeff Zalaznick of Major Food Group told The New York Times: "The idea is to restore and reinvigorate the greatest restaurant space that’s ever existed."
The Grill, which opened to the public on May 4, 2017, has been called “New York’s Most Important New Restaurant” by Bloomberg News.
Senior Partner Ronald B. Kremnitzer, Co-Chair of Pryor Cashman’s Real Estate Group and Restaurant Food & Beverage Practice, and Partner Benjamin Teig worked on the real estate lease, while Partner Richard Frazer, Co-Chair of the firm’s Restaurant, Food & Beverage Practice, handled the corporate aspects of the deal.
