Pryor Cashman Acts as Counsel for Distributor of Documentary “Unbranded”

Pryor Cashman acted as legal counsel for Phillip Baribeau and his team in the production of the feature-length documentary, “Unbranded” which recently won the audience award at Toronto’s Documentary Film Festival, Hot Docs. 

The film, which was recently mentioned in The Hollywood Reporter, follows four recent graduates of Texas A&M on a 3,000 mile journey on horseback across the American West.

The Pryor Cashman team, which also closed a distribution deal in July 2015 on behalf of their clients with Gravitas Ventures in its acquisition of domestic rights to “Unbranded,” was comprised of Counsels Anne S. Atkinson, F. Robert Stein and W. Wilder Knight II as well as Associates Lloyd N. Steele and Jonathan Stein of the firm’s Media & Entertainment, Corporate and Tax Groups.
