Pryor Cashman Client TriSpan Acquires Stake in Woolpert
On December 6, 2017, Pryor Cashman client TriSpan Opportunities LP, together with New York-based private investment firm Long Point Capital, finalized a minority recapitalization deal with Woolpert, a national architecture, engineering and geospatial firm headquartered in Beavercreek, Ohio. The investment from TriSpan, an independent and management-controlled private-equity platform, will help Woolpert execute strategy, investments and add-on acquisitions in 2018 and beyond.
Founded in 2015, TriSpan has offices in New York, London and Dubai, and focuses primarily on growth investing opportunities. Woolpert is both the largest engineering company and the largest architectural firm in the Dayton region, with nearly 700 employees. The company's revenue was $133.8 million in 2016, up from $118 million the previous year.
