Pryor Cashman Represents Dokumental Schreibfarben GmbH & Co. KG In Acquisition Of National Ink, LLC And Shanghai National Ink. Co. Ltd.
Pryor Cashman client Dokumental Schreibfarben GmbH & Co. KG, Ludwigshafen, Germany has agreed to purchase the business of National Ink, LLC, Santee, CA and its affiliate Shanghai National Ink. Co. Ltd. The asset purchase is expected to be completed by late March or early April 2010, pending approval of governmental authorities.
Dokumental is the world market leader in the development and production of inks and writing fluids. The product range includes ballpoint pen inks, inks for felt tip pens, roller ball pens, gel pens, board markers, permanent markers, highlighters, fine liners and fountain pens, as well as a wide range of special inks in many different colors. National Ink is the largest independent writing and marketing instruments ink manufacturer in the United States. Shanghai National Ink operates a manufacturing plant in Shanghai, PRC.
