Pryor Cashman represented the lead investor in a private placement of equity securities (PIPE) by Shiner International, Inc. (NasdaqCM: BEST), a China-based supplier of advanced packaging products.

The total investment in the PIPE transaction was $3.13 million. Investors purchased a total of approximately 2.6 million shares of Shiner's common stock and warrants to purchase one-fifth of the total shares of common stock sold in the financing.

Partner Edward Normandin, a member of Pryor Cashman’s Corporate Group, advised the lead investor in the transaction.
