Best Lawyers Methodology and Selectivity
The "Best Law Firms" list is derived from comprehensive research on more than 13,000 firms, which are ranked across 74 national practice areas and 122 metro practice areas. The tiered rankings are a reflection of a firm’s expertise, responsiveness, business understanding, cost-effectiveness and integrity.
Individuals rankings are the result of annual peer-review surveys taken from 50,000 of the country’s leading attorneys on the legal abilities of other lawyers in their practice areas.
