Food for Thought: Street Art and Celebrity Chefs
Partner Richard Frazer, a member of Pryor Cashman’s Corporate Group, will be speaking on the panel, “Celebrity (Chef) Restaurants, Libations, and Foodstuffs” at the New York State Bar Association (NYSBA) program, “Food for Thought: Street Art and Celebrity Chefs,” which will be held on November 17, 2015, commencing at 3:00 p.m.
The Entertainment, Arts and Sports Law Section in conjunction with the Food, Drug and Cosmetic Law Section of NYSBA will take a look at the legal issues surrounding celebrities and celebrity chefs opening up restaurant establishments in New York. These legal issues include selling liquor, developing and selling food stuff products to be sold from these restaurants to the public, and undertaking brand extension programs. The diverse group of panelists will identify relevant issues and considerations to forming such enterprises in New York, including food and beverage management agreements and brand licensing deals.
