Pryor Cashman Counsel Wendy LaManque, a member of the Labor + Employment Group, participated in a webinar presented by the Cornell University School of Industrial & Labor Relations Alumni Association (ILRAA).

The ILRAA Career Transition Initiative (CTI) program is aimed at supporting alumni who are reentering the workforce, navigating a layoff, or pivoting in their career. Part of the CTI programming includes a series of virtual lunch-and-learn panels, where experienced professionals, including ILR alumni, equip other members of the Cornell community with tools to navigate their career transition.

Wendy, who is an ILR alumnus, gave a presentation that focused on how to navigate the challenges of an online job search in 2024, how to tailor a resume to be reviewed by automated employment decision tools, and what questions to ask in an interview to make a lasting impression.
