Pryor Cashman Partners Felicity Kohn and Joshua Weigensberg will speak at the Music Business and Law Conference presented by the New York State Bar Association, Entertainment, Arts & Sports Law Section.

Felicity will speak on the panel “Litigation Update on the Music Front,” which will examine recent key cases, including Sedlik v. Von Drachenberg, Allen v. Perlmutter, Vetter v. Resnick, and Cox v. Sony.

Josh will moderate the conference’s opening panel, “The Basics: Music in Media,” a legal deep dive into key business and rights issues surrounding music in gaming and on social media platforms. The session will cover clearance workflows, licensing structures, contract provisions, ownership and revenue splits, and practical risk management for creators, rights holders, and producers.
