Alberts to Speak at IBA Webinar on Crypto Dispute Resolution
Pryor Cashman Partner Jeffrey Alberts, Co-Chair of the firm’s Financial Institutions and FinTech Practices, will be speaking at “Forum Shopping in the Metaverse: Where to Litigate (or Arbitrate) Your Next Crypto Asset Clash,” a webinar presented by the International Bar Association Asset Recovery Committee.
Jeff’s panel will explore and compare the public and private cryptocurrency dispute resolution mechanisms available across key jurisdictions, including the UAE, US, UK, and Singapore. The discussion will highlight the newly launched Digital Economy Court in the Dubai International Financial Centre and examine how it stacks up against other litigation and arbitration options for resolving crypto-related disputes.
