Weigensberg to Speak on The Right of Publicity and Celebrity in the Digital Age at Fordham Law
Pryor Cashman Partner Joshua Weigensberg, a member of the firm’s Litigation and Media + Entertainment Groups, will be a featured panelist on Panel 2: The Right of Publicity and Celebrity in the Digital Age, at the Eleventh Annual Media & Entertainment Law Symposium hosted by the Media and Entertainment Law Society of Fordham Law.
Josh will join fellow panelists in a discussion examining the evolving legal and ethical challenges surrounding privacy and the right of publicity. The panel will explore how courts, legislators, and industry professionals are responding to the use of name, image, and likeness in the digital era, with particular focus on AI-generated content and deepfakes. The discussion will also highlight emerging laws governing the right of publicity and the negotiation of privacy in entertainment and media contracts.
