Pryor Cashman’s Karen Robson to Present at the Winston Baker 15th Annual International Film Finance Forum in Cannes

Pryor Cashman attorney Karen Robson, a member of the Media + Entertainment, Banking + Finance, Intellectual Property, Corporate, and Digital Media Groups, will participate in the Winston Baker 15th Annual International Film Finance Forum, presented at the Marché du Film alongside the 2025 Cannes Film Festival.

Karen will serve as moderator for the “Fireside Chat with Annie Murray and Deirdre Brennan,” featuring the CEOs of the New Zealand Film Commission and Screen Australia. This conversation will explore international collaboration, funding strategies, and how each agency supports the development of globally competitive film and television projects. Founder of the Pryor Cashman Los Angeles office, Karen was educated and practiced as an entertainment lawyer in Australia before moving Stateside. Karen maintains close ties to Australia playing an active role on the board of Australians in Film, a Los Angeles based non-profit film, television, and digital content foundation whose mission is to increase the quality and growth of Australian creativity globally by opening doors in Hollywood for its members and partners, via professional development programs, screenings and industry sessions.

Taking place on the Festival’s Main Stage in partnership with the Marché du Film, the International Film Finance Forum will feature leading executives from across the media and finance spectrum, covering key topics such as tax incentives, independent production models, and the evolving international sales and distribution landscape. The Forum will take place from 2pm – 6pm on Friday, May 16, 2025 and is open to all with a Festival or Market badge.
