Pryor Cashman Elects M. Ali Panjwani to Executive Committee

Pryor Cashman is pleased to announce that Partner M. Ali Panjwani has been elected to a three-year term on the firm’s Executive Committee. The six-person committee, along with three ex-officio members—the Founding Partner, immediate-past Managing Partner, and Chief Operating Officer—oversees the management and strategic direction of the firm, which has offices in New York, Los Angeles, and Miami.

Ali is Co-Chair of the Corporate Group and is Chair of the Securities + Corporate Finance Practice. With extensive experience in securities and capital markets, he represents public and private companies, investment banks, venture capitalists, and investment funds in a variety of complex transactions. His work spans mergers and acquisitions, initial public offerings, private financings, and SEC reporting.

Actively involved in the energy and technology sectors, Ali provides guidance to companies on investments and strategic ventures. His knowledge continues to drive success for clients in both traditional and alternative investments.

Ali’s practical, client-first approach to legal challenges has earned him widespread recognition, including being named a “Diverse Leader in Law” by Crain’s New York Business and a top lawyer by The Legal 500 US.

Ali received his J.D. from Benjamin N. Cardozo School of Law, where he was a member of the Cardozo Journal of International and Comparative Law and a recipient of the Heyman Fellowship in Corporate Governance. He earned his B.S. from the Leonard N. Stern School of Business at New York University.
