Sofferman Elected to ABA’s Forum on Entertainment + Sports Industries Governing Committee
Pryor Cashman Media and Entertainment Group member, Sophia Sofferman, was unanimously elected to the American Bar Association’s Forum on Entertainment & Sports Industries Governing Committee at the ABA Annual Conference, “Bright Lights, Big Opportunities: Best in IP, Sports, and Entertainment Law” on November 16, 2024.
Sophia’s hybrid practice consists of counseling record labels, music publishers, musicians, songwriters, and production companies on various music-related matters and business transactions.
The ABA Forum — a national resource for entertainment lawyers — is dedicated to fostering scholarship and excellence in the entertainment and sports sectors. It provides Continuing Legal Education (CLE) through webinars and live panels, internal networking opportunities, and hosts an annual meeting that brings together entertainment and sports lawyers from around the world to connect with corporate counsel, leading practitioners, and prominent industry sponsors.
