Michael focuses his practice on the representation of institutional lenders, collateral managers, hedge funds and other asset-based lenders in connection with commercial disputes such as default-based workouts, commercial and residential real estate foreclosures, commercial collections and judgment enforcement litigation.

Michael’s decades of experience in New York courts and thorough understanding of the economic realities his clients face allow him to provide sound business and legal counsel.
Transactional Work
Michael also represents clients on transactional matters, including the negotiation and preparation of loan purchase agreements, often in connection with the sale of commercial loans and the acquisition of large residential mortgage pools. His experience enforcing mortgage loan agreements affords him a unique perspective on these transactions.
