Pryor Cashman represented Wolters Kluwer nv in three acquisitions of high-end information technology companies in January 2006. The law firm has served as acquisitions counsel in dozens of transactions in the U.S. for this leading multinational publisher and information services company for almost 30 years.
The recent transactions include the acquisition of :

• ProVation Medical Inc., a provider of medical documentation, coding and workflow solutions to hospitals and ambulatory surgery centers in the U.S.
• NDC Health Information Services, a leading provider of pharmaceutical data and business intelligence products, in a complex transaction in which an unrelated balance of the operations of publicly held NDC Health were acquired by a third party
• Sage Software's CPA software business, a supplier of practice management, accounting and document storage software for the accounting profession
