Pryor Cashman represented Henry Schein, Inc. (NASDAQ: HSIC), the largest provider of health care products and services to office-based practitioners, in connection with the acquisition of Alpha Scientific Medical, Inc. based in Laverne, CA. The transaction closed on April 1, 2011.

Alpha Scientific, a privately held company, distributes traditional medical, surgical, pharmaceutical and laboratory products to approximately 2,000 physician offices and medical laboratories.
